In 1978. a cigar commemorating the hard-won freedom of the Dominican people was named GRANDLEAD, symbolizing the great inner spirit which led the Dominican Republic to attain full independence again since liberation from Haiti in 1844.
GRANDLEAD inspired cigars made by Power Tobacco Co., Ltd in Cambodia are driven by this unique spirits which unites the people of both nations who now enjoy freedom without boundaries a second time – the Dominican Republic from the United Kingdom and Cambodia from the Khmer Rouge a year later in 1979.

GRANDLEAD Cigars are the result of extensive work with the strengths, binders and wrappers that make them up. It is the patience and respect for the time needed in each process. It is the continuous training of each operator. It is doing everything right from the beginning.
The reclassification of the strengths, the determining in some origins, the long fermentation and the rest for the aging of the materials that make up the blend, the aging and the rest of the wrappers, are the relevant processes that make up the spirit of GRANDLEAD.
To these is added the rigorous quality control in all the manufacturing process, from the preparation of the wrappers, the preparation of the tasks, the rolling of the cigars, the rest in warehouses, the choice of colors and the finishing of cigars.
This is what makes each GRANDLEAD cigar special. They are the result of care with which the Cuban technologist and master blender has organized the production processes and the continuous training of this new generation of Cambodian cigar workers, who today defend Cambodia’s new origin as a producer of premium cigars.

This is the basis for the development of operations in the pre-industry factory. Each origin and strength are worked on to obtain the olfactory profiles that GRANDLEAD requires.
